My only guess is that either you only installed the DjinnBass standalone (something I don't think is even possible to do within Native Access. You might have to Add the library location here (pointing to where the 64 bit file installed) and then hit Reset And Scan maybe. If you don't see it, try going into Database tab. If so, it really should work, I would think. Under Options->Libraries you should see DjinnBass here.

In Kontakt 6 Player within Reaper, in the top left, there is Manage Libraries button. If it still doesn't work, you might have to add the library manually. I'm guessing you skipped that, maybe? Actually, I dont even think you can, when installed with Native Access. When you reinstall it, make sure to install the standalone AND 64bit version. It seems to have done it correctly for you with the Standalone version.įirst, uninstall it within Native Access, then reinstall it. This should be something Native Access does for you, IIRC. It should do the same in the VST version. It shows in the Libraries in the standalone, based on your picture. I am assuming it's just the VST version that Djinnbass won't work in. Tip: do a search function on the web page (ctrl+F on PC) and type in the word “Kontakt”.Hmm, so it looks like it should be at least working in the standalone player. Since Kontakt Player is free, it will have slightly limited functionality and content compared to the full version, but many users make do just fine with the free version, especially if you aren’t heavy into composing for an orchestra full time.ĪLWAYS remember to check for compatibility when purchasing a new library, as it can sometimes be hard to find in all the fine print. It can be confusing, because essentially, all versions of Kontakt are “players” of sample content. The biggest thing to remember: anytime you see mention of Kontakt Player, this simply refers to the free version. It will be a mandatory upgrade, just not yet. Many of us are able to get by just fine by still using Kontakt 5, however that will not always be the case, as developers take advantage of the new features and begin to release libraries that are only compatible with Kontakt 6. Kontakt 6 – This is the newest version of the Kontakt sampler, and it’s the latest and greatest, yet it’s benefits and features are yet to be fully taken advantage of, simply because it’s still so new on the market.
